Cold weather making my clutch soft?

or is it somthing eals? i just drove it fine 5 hrs ago and now its cold as hell and can put it into gear.

anyone know?

The hydraulic fluid used in the clutch release system is DOT 3 brake fluid. Cold weather may be affecting it if it is old, dark, contaminated fluid. But, it should be cheap and easy to change out. If this doesn’t work, you may need a new clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder. These should be replaced together, because they tend to fail at about the same rate. The cold may be causing the worn rubber cups and seals to leak, feeling like a soft pedal.
