2002 Toyota Avalon. Dealer did diagnostics on the CV joints, transmission and differential; line pressure check, pulled the pan to look for metal particles and changed the fluid. Nothing was conclusive. Translation: the extended warranty did not authorize further analysis. Anyone had this problem? I’m in a panic since the warranty ends in August 2008.
You have got to be more specific about the noise - one clunk, a lot of them, high tone, low tone, can you feel it in your hands? Your feet? The brake? Front or back of the car? More details please.
