My 1999 Saab 93 started making a clicking sound that speeds up and slows down as the car speeds up and slows down BUT goes away when I give it gas. The sound is still there when the clutch is depressed and seems to be coming from the front right of the car. I can feel the clicking in the clutch and the stick shift.
This may be a failing CV joint…or axle for all intents and purposes…if thew CV joint goes they normally click when you have the wheel turned…when they are really bad they will click even when going straight. Perhaps you ran over something and it is rubbing on the wheel? Check that too.
Okay, great! Thank you for your fast reply. I think you’re right.
