“Click or Clack” was the clue for one of the five letter words in the New York Times crossword puzzle on Thursday 16 August 2012. “Tom, Ray, Thomas, Raymond” did not fit. As the week progresses I come up with fewer and fewer answers. But with a little help from the crosswords, I came up with the answer : “noise.” Credit goes to Ethan Cooper and Will Shortz.
