I have a 2001 Chrysler Sebring with 56K. It is now making a strange groaning sound, which comes from underneath the car, exact location can not be determined. This noise does not occur all the time, just now and then, occasionally. Usually it happens when first starting to move or when slowing down to stop. I took it to my mechanic to check the brakes and he said the brakes were fine. Is there anyone out there who has experienced a problem like this with a Sebring or other Chrysler product?
