What’s the difference between an AC compressor that’s rated for front AC only and an AC compressor that’s rated for both front and rear AC?
The reason I’m asking is that I’m planning to replace the compressor in my venture and I already have a good replacement, but it’s not rated for rear A/C. My venture has rear A/C. I’m just wondering if this other compressor would work. I’d like to know what is the difference between the two types of compressor. I spent a lot of time looking for information in searching but didn’t find it. I didn’t find much on A/C compressor design at all.
