Chevy truck acts like it wants to stall when u stop at a light

MY TRUCK IS A CHEVY 05 SILVERADO 1500 WITH A 8 CYLINDER. IT RUNS GREAT THE ONLY PROBLEM IS WHEN YOU COME TO A STOP AT A LIGHT FOR A FEW MIN OR SLOW DOWN WITH THE AIR CONDITION ON, THE TRUCK STARTS CHOCKING /SPUTTERING THE LONGER YOU SIT STILL, THE WORSE IT GETS. IF YOU STOP FOR JUST A MIN OR TWO IT IS OK BUT ANY LONGER AND IT ACTS LIKE IT IS ON ITS LAST LEGIT HAS NEVER STALLED COMPLETELY BUT IT HAS COME CLOSE. TAKE OFF IS ALSO AFFECTED IF THE AIR IS ON IT DOES NOT HAVE ANY TAKE OFF UNTIL U TURN THE AIR OFF PLEASE HELP ME IF YOU CAN I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO.

Start with a tune up and a gas additive to clean your fuel injectors. If that doesn’t help, have the compression checked in each cylinder. If you want to spend no money at all to "“solve” this problem, turn off the A/C coming to a stop, and put the car in neutral while stopped (it will rev higher).
