I have a 1999 Chevy Blazer and I want to change the door lock actuator because the driver side power door lock isn’t working. Do I have to change the entire door latch assembly or can I remove the door lock actuator from the door latch assembly? How do I remove it without damaging it?
Yes, you can buy the actuator itself. As far as removing it without damage, clearly it can be done. If you doubt your abilities to figure out how, buy the complete assembly.
How do you know the problem is with the actuator?
