Check engine light

vehicle is frequently hesitating (mostly at lower speeds) and is now dying when I come to a stop

This question gets answered several times a day. You can see some of those discussions if you go to the Search (overhead), click on it, and in the keywords space, type in “Engine stalls at stop”.

That CEL (check engine light) is just a kid in class waving her hand trying to get you attention because she has the answer. You need to have the codes read. Some places will read them for FREE. Try Autozone or Advanced Auto Parts. Get the exact code (like P0123) not just their translation into English and post it back here.

Next time ask a question.

Apparently your engine light is on. Many auto parts chain stores read the codes for free. Go have the codes read, write down the exact code(s) (like P0123) and post it/them.

I WILL TAKE YOUR ADVICE AND GO TO AUTOZONE TO GET THE CODES. THANK YOU
