Well, lets see - shall we throw the 100 or so possibilities and then huge number more combinations into a hat and just start pulling out random possibilities? Or, oh wait, let me get my crystal ball.
How about giving people a place to start? What year is it? How many miles? What kind of maintenance history does it have? (Oil changes are mostly irrelevant - talk plugs, wires, filters, etc.) Pull out your manual, get all basic maintenance items up to date. Then come back, report what has been taken care of and when. Report as much detail as possible about the conditions under which the problems occur.
