I have a 95 olds cutlass convertible one of the last 5 Pax cars. About every 7 or 8th time when I go to start it nothing happens. Everything lights up on panel You can hear a click in right hand circuit panel under hood. Had car checked they say nothing wrong. Could it be ignition switch,chip on key,starter relay or the brain? Suggestions.

I’d check the battery cable connections, and load-test the battery first. That’s the cheapest and easiest fix, and often overlooked. Happened to me, and I thought the connections looked clean.
Rescueranger has given you a good starting point. The positive connector on those side terminal batteries are notorious for corrosion under the protective boot.
Next time it happens, try starting in neutral.
