When I take the key out the car stays on, when i put the key back in and turn to stand by position the car shuts off, then the cars starts making an electrical click that “causes” all the internal lights and dash lights to flicker. It continues until the battery dies. This happened with out any warning (dash warnings or unusual engine sounds/ driving problems)
Any ideas so I can go to the mechanic better informed
The ignition switch is faulty or the linkage to it isn’t working like it should be.
