What you describe sounds exactly like torque converter clutch (TCC) shudder. Its time for a trip to you best local, owner operated transmission shop. Not a corporate chain transmission place and not a general purpose mechanic.
IF ALL CAPS were easier to read, then the news papers and book printers would use all caps.
