If you think you are frustrated now, just try calling the MVD.
There is no real reason to fret over the delay. If you filed all the papers correctly and have your insurance paid up, you are strictly legal. Your temporary registration covers all contingencies. It really does not matter if your title comes tomorrow, next week, or next month. There’s no reason you have to have it.
Do you have a temporary registration? What state are you in? There are instructions if it is a new car. They say when you should call DMV. The temporary says when it expires. It could take 60 days in some states.
