One day the steering wheel on my car started to shake and the car would pull to the right. But it would not do it constantly. What do you think it is?
I would only drive it slow to repair shop, maybe a front end part fixing to break and so parts when they break you will lose steering.
Model year, mileage??
Does this occur all the time or when braking?
It could be a dragging brake rotor.
It’s a Honda accord with 205,000 miles on it. I just had my rotors replaced a year ago. And it does it randomly.
With over 200k miles on the odometer, it is likely that you have some pretty significant wear on front end components, such as ball joints and tie rod ends, and the symptoms are consistent with worn-out front end components.
Since this is a definite safety issue, I strongly suggest that you drive (slowly) to a reputable independent repair shop. Avoid all chain operations unless you want to be overcharged for substandard repair work.
