I’ll be driving and once I come to a complete stop at lights or a stop sign I lose all power to accelerate the revs will sit just under 2k and I’ll have my foot all the way down on the pedal but there’s just no power coming from the car I have to turn it off and on to regain power but it loses power once I come to a stop.
The car is a Nissan tida 2007
Does the rpm change when you press on gas pedal to take off?
Is the Check Engine Light lit-up?
OP does not clearly say if car will move ok up to 2krpm or not. My car does 60mph @2k on highway.
I think the OP means his car will not go above 2000 RPM when accelerating…

The OP should have a CEL illuminated,
that it is corrected by turning off the car and then restarting it indicates to me a failing ECM. Could be accelerator pedal position sensor.
