It could be the battery, the charging system, a cable connection, the ignition switch, the starter solenoid, a parasitic drain (on the battery), the neutral safety switch, the security system, the Passkey system, or a host of other possibilities.

How old is the battery?
Has anyone checked the cables?
Are there any particular conditions under which this happens?
