My car’s cup holder seems to be stuck. No matter how many times I push the button, it will not open up, and it’s very annoying. How can I clean it up for it to open back up? Is this normal for these fancy cup holder mechanisms to get stuck like this? Thanks so much!
It might be jammed up with sticky residue from spillage of sweet beverages.
I would try to clean the mechanism. You could spray it with glass cleaner or water. If that doesn’t work, I would try to lubricate the mechanism. Don’t use WD40 on plastic. Try a dry silicone lubricant.
