I just had an oil change and cleaning of fuel injectors, and now my car clock numbers get scrambled when the car warms up. On a cold morning, the car clock works perfectly, but by the afternoon, the numbers start getting jumbled. Any ideas on what happened? Is it just a loose wire somewhere?
Maybe when they did the tune up, they got the timing off–that will affect a clock. Just kidding–we used to set engine timing when we did a tuneup.
I don’t think that the two things are related. I think the clock has a problem when the temperature is warmer and this has nothing to do with the oil change and tuneup.
