Car buying advice

I live in Eastern Massachusetts and I’m looking to find auto buying advice and assistance in purchasing a used vehicle (most likely an SUV). If anyone has a recommendation for someone to help me in this process, I’d be grateful. Thanks.

Start by picking up a Consumer Reports Used Car Buyers’ Guide at the local bookstore. Use that as a reference, search your local area, and have anything you decide you’re truely interested in checked out thoroughly by your mechanic. It’ll be a truely worthwhile investment.

Find a Consumer Reports April issue and start there. Review what the recommendations are for the price range of vehicles you can affor/want to spend, and how to negotiate a good car deal.

Give us a price range and a size range and we can start.

Never tell a saleman that you love a particular car. If you do you have just erased any bargaining power.
