i have a f-250 truck and the windsheild wipers dont work. when the switch is selected i hear clicking from behind the dash nothing from the firewall by the motor. Is there some kind of relay or is the motor shot.
If there are any relays independent of the motor assembly itself, depends on what year your truck is. In any event, there are far more possible reasons for the failure than the two that you suppose.
Motor assembly.
Wiring.
Multifunction switch.
Electronic module (if older model).
Mechanical linkage problem.
truck is a 94 and hasn’t ran in 8 months
That doesn’t matter. The things tardis listed are the common problems why the wipers do not work. You’ll need to check them all.
