Each front caliper has an upper and lower guide pin. I removed all 4 guide pins and, too late, see there is a long and a short guide pin. Which goes in the upper and which goes in the lower position on the brake caliper.
Take the long guide pin and insert it in both holes.
The hole where the guide pin doesn’t completely insert is the wrong hole.

Yeah, it makes no diff. Long and short each fit completely into the top and the bottom bore. Both bores are the same depth, smooth all the way (no shoulder.)
may end up removing one of the pins on the other wheel to compare.
The OP removed all four pins at the same time.
