2005.5 Jetta Manual transmission. When attempting to fuel the car when almost empty, the car at times just spills the fuel. I end up filling a 5-gallon gas container and drive home. After some time, the car will finally accept the fuel and once the gas is in the tank, I’m able to fill it up. I usually pump gas when its 3/4 empty as this does not happen then. What causes this issue?
