Pulled the hood release lever and heard a snap sound. Now the hood won’t open. Cable appears to be attached to the lever under the steering wheel. Does anyone know how I can fix it?
Find another vehicle identical to yours and study the operation of the hood latch and how to access it on your vehicle and once open, replace the complete cable.
Ensure you lubricate the new cable sheath before finishing. Also do the latch as well.
