Brake Pedal Sqeeks come from in cabin not outside

On my Ford Flex when I press the brake pedal it sqeeks. It is definitely coming from under the dash were the pedal is located. This has nothing to do with the brakes itself. Has anyone encountered this problem and have found a solution? Thanks!

Aerosol silicon spray on the brake pedal pivot. You may have to remove a hush panel to access it.

Someone needs to get a little oil into the pivot bushing where the pedal attaches to the car, at its top.

Another idea, there’s usually a sort of rubber boot where the brake linkage goes through the firewall, and that can be a source of squeaks and “puff” and “whistle” sounds, like air rushing through a small opening.

Thank you for your reply I will try it and report back
