Where can the brake codes be found on a 1985 Chevrolet 3/4 ton pickup, so that I can get a proper master cylinder? EXamples JB3, JB5, JB6, JB7, or JD3,5,6,or7. I read they can be found on a service parts identification sticker, but I do not know where that might be located.
I don’t know where the vehicle build label is on a 1985 Chevrolet but in general the code label can be found on the hood, glove box door or rear bulk head (rear of cab, under seat/storage box).
You can try calling Chevrolet regional center, customer service. Have your VIN on hand. They may be able to look it up for you.
