ok so i bought a 2000 nissan maxima with 170k and i looked under the steering wheel to find that there was several wires and black tape come to find out at one point in the cars life it had a remote starter because i found a viper system model number 130xv and i was wondering is it possible to get a replacement keyfob so the remote starter and security would work or is it possible to buy a similar system with the same connections and just install it or should i let it be

I’d check and find out who installs the viper systems in your area and ask them. They may be able to order the parts you need.
