I have an 02 dakota & about a year ago the security light would occasionally start blinking only when my headlights were on. The truck has no alarm system. At first it was intermittent then every time the lights were on. Then it started blinking intermittently even with the headlights off. All of the door locks worked inside & the keyless entry worked fine. Now the light flashes all of the time & the interior door locks do not work. The keyless entry still works. Using the black tape solution for now but, it’s driving me crazy anyway
