My Check Engine Light signaled me to take my new-ish car into dealership service. The bleed hose had a leak. The service rep said something like: the leak signaled a continuous open throttle, triggering the CEL. The new hose and repair were both fully covered under warranty.
Never have had a bleed hose issue before. Is the usual cause of a bleed hose leak in a new car just a defective one? Or can owner’s handling of the vehicle (jackrabbit starts, etc) wear down the bleed hose?
