i have a 1996 chevy 1500 with a 305 vortec but recently the fule pump quit powering on what could be causing this
Faulty pump…bad electric connection…
and a few more.
Mid-90s Chevy trucks are somewhat notorious for fuel pump failures. I used to have a 94 K1500 Blazer that had its fuel pump die on me. Installed a new pump and I was on my way.
First, inspect the wiring connections to the pump and be sure it’s not simply a dirty or loose connector.
