Flip the lid on that breather. That made engines sound more powerful 50 years ago and image is of course the most important thing to consider.

Do you mean the air cleaner cover? Breather is associated with the crankcase. Supposedly the secondaries on GM 4 bbl carbs would not open due to restricted air flow, I donāt know if true but I did flip the cover on my Cutlass.
I donāt think that would be applicable on his.
