Ok, the compromise will be crimsom and blue and cameo and florescent gorilla tape underneath, ie, first layer and black electrical tape on top, covering the other tape.

New episode of “The Tapes of Our Lives”:
I ended up using gorilla tape and electrical tape with the electrical tape on top of the gorilla tape. Having a couple of near 100 degree days this past week provided the best test. The gorilla tape did just fine, the electrical tape is melting off. The promised “will hold up to 200 degrees” was not true.
Next step: cover it all with a layer of gorilla tape.
