My radio went bad after my battery died almost 2 yrs. ago. A local mechanic jump started it with hand held device but that burned out some cooling fans and my radio died. Will replacing the radio do it? Or is there something else to it?
The radio may have a code that needs to be reset after the power was lost. It also seems strange that the fans could have been damaged. I would suspect that a fuse blew.
