Have you actually looked at the costs of buying these parts and shipping them to where you are and comparing that to the tax you’d have to pay if you bought the whole vehicle? I think you’ll find that the tax might be the cheapest option.
#2…Let’s say you get quotes and find it is cheaper. And you have the place dismantle the vehicle and send you the parts. You’ll have to pay upfront. You wait a couple months for them to be shipped…and when they arrive you find that the parts are from a 1968 VW Bug. Then what? Try and get your money back.
