What kind of near luxury car can you get today for $34K? That’s family sedan pricing.
Toyota Avalon Is Dead! Long Live the Camry!
Another victim of the SUV crossover onslaught, the low-selling large sedan will be gone by the end of next year.

True, but a top of the line Camry or Accord have most luxury features folks would want. That’s why I said ‘near luxury’. Next notch up, Acura TLX and Lexus ES350, I’d call ‘luxury’ for a few thousand more.
The ES350 starts at $41,000. An ES350 with basic features like heated and ventilated seats and parking assist starts at $45,000.
That’s an absurd price for an Avalon in a Sunday suit.
$34,000 won’t buy an Avalon, they start at $37,000. Only four thousand dollars more to go from a Toyota to a Lexus.
Wow. 10 character minimum.
My wife was car shopping a few years ago. She found that by the time she outfitted a Honda Pilot the way she wanted, she was only $5K away from a Cadillac or Lincoln.

… but, the Avalon will soon be gone from the marketplace…

Since 50 years ago was 1971, buying a 1995 anything for any price would be quite the bargain.
