1994 Mercedes Benz E320 (196,000 miles). I have had this problem for over 6 months and no fix. The ASR light comes on intermittently. I have had the throttle actuator replaced, the accelerator switch replaced, and a fuse (the engine wouldn’t turnover). The car will run for a while just fine, then the ASR comes on, and acceleration stops immediately! Temporary remedy is to turn the engine off, and turn the engine back on. The light goes off (for a while). Is it the wiring? Any suggestions?
