my power steering fluid in my 3.0 ranger leaks very slowly has anyone had this problem and what does it take to fix it
21 year old car… nearly EVERYone has had this problem. It is usually an easy fix. If you don’t know the exact location of the leak, do this;
There are 2 hoses from the power steering pump, high pressure and low pressure. The high pressure is likely leaking from the crimp at the end. Replace it both hoses, they are 21 years old, they deserve it. If that doesn’t fix the leak, replace the pump.
