Has anyone here used the site YourMechanic.com? I found it while doing some research on the quote a local Pep Boys (don’t judge, I was desperate :P) gave me for a repair I need to pass inspection. The quote I’m getting from YourMechanic is less than half the cost, which immediately has me wondering if they’re a scam…so I went to Yelp, where they have 280 5-star reviews. Many of which kind of seem scripted. If they can actually do the repair properly for the price they’re quoting me, that would be fantastic, but I can’t tell if they’re legit or not.
