Help!
The steering of my car is all out of wack. The wheel actually moves left and right on it’s own. Anyone have an idea what’s going on? Is it a simple alignment problem?
It might be a tread separation on a tire. Have the tires and front suspension inspected.
To help distinguish between a tire problem and suspension or steering problem, you could switch the front and back tires and see if the vibration stays the same or not.
I doubt it’s your alignment unless it’s way, way off. If something is loose or broken in your front suspension, it could fail suddenly with very bad results, so don’t wait too long to get this checked out.
