95 chevy pu, new compressor put in 2 yrs. ago. blows like ice when working turns on & off intermittenly, can sit at stop sign & will run fine & other times shuts off, reving engine will turn it on & then it’ll turn off & then it’ll turn on again.
Have the freon pressure checked, both high and low side. If they are not correct, the compressor will cycle. Also, ice forming on the evaporator can cause the compressor to kick out. But check operating pressures first…
