I have a 2005 dodge caravan auto trans tha air bag light stays on hooked it to a computer it reads driver seat belt tensioner circuit open I have replaced both ends of the seat belt but it is still on what could be wrong?
You need to find out why the circuit is open. It could be broken wire or bad connection in the circuit all the way to the air bag module.
The bag system is probably separate from the BCM that was worried about the belt…It takes a special scan tool to read the bag module…
