I have a 1995 Mercury Sable 3.0 liter. I recently replaced the radiator fan and in doing so I had to move (not disconnect) the computer and what I think was the air bag sensor from the front. After the repair, the air bag indicator blinks four times, pauses then five times, and repeats. How can I clear this indication.
I show code 45 as “Left hand radiator primary crash sensor not mounted to vehicle properly.”
Check the wiring & orientation & make sure the mounting surface is clean as it grounds to the sheet metal. (compare it to the right side sensor)
