Synopsis: Can a car repair cause my electric windows to operate fine in weather above 50 degrees or so, yet not move for a couple of minutes in cold weather? Here it is: My car was hit last Sept (not cold weather) The passenger side from the driver’s door to the front bumper was destroyed. My windows were fine. Starting in November (Chicago) none of the windows would move (except sun roof) for a few minutes after starting the car. What would cause this electrical problem? This problem continued until the Spring. There was never any ice involved - the car was parked in a garage. It is a 2004 Hyundai XG350L. Help!
I would check the main power to the window control circuit. The relay for the circuit may be faulty also.
