ABS light on then off then on again

Susuki Grand Vitara 2000 has the ABS light going on, then off, then on, then off…

Often on the same 10 mile drive. The code doesn’t show any problem with either the code light on or off.

What do we check now?

Have the ABS system checked out. It may just be a loose wire.

CHeck the tone rings for the ABS.

never thought about a loose wire – have had problems with critters so maybe one got nibbled.
