feels like the abs is firing on the driver side front brake on my 03 mazda tribute causing it to pull to the right. Any thoughts would be helpful.
could be a bad sensor. Or a sticking caliper that’s causing greater braking force than you think, which actually is locking the wheel.
Use the other wheel for comparison; verify the ABS sensor is in the correct position. Make sure it is clean. Dirt, dust etc may interfere with the sensor. Also, check the tone ring for cracks or missing “teeth”. A crack or missing tooth will make one period look longer than the rest and activate the system every time.
