A/c led light

My 2006 f150 led light indicator that shows when your A/c is on or off does not work. Could the push button be bad or is the led burnt out. This is not a big deal I’m the kind of person that if it’s on there I want it to work. It has manuel control knob’s. Hate to take it to a dealer. Have no idea how to repair, any help would be appreciated.

Is the ac compressor even engaging?

Are you getting cold air from the panel registers?

Somehow, I suspect your real question is “My truck’s ac isn’t blowing cold air, and the ac indicator light isn’t on”

Seems kind of contradictory…
If the buttons work the LED is burned out or has a loose connection
