We have a 99 Volvo S80 with 95,000 miles on it. It has recently developed a potent smell of gas (fuel) in the interior and it is slow to start when the engine is cold. We often have to crank it twice before it will start. Any ideas as to what the problem could be?
If there is a fuel leak, it’s a potential fire hazard. Have someone knowledgeable look at it. It could be caused by a leaking fuel line, fuel injector seal, etc.
