The windshield wipers on my 99 Honda accord swings off the left side of the windshield and also slam down on the bottom. It is not the arms that are warned out on the inside because they both remain equal distance apart. Help please it started raining.
The linkage at the wiper motor crank arm must be loose or broken.
Remove the cowling from over the wiper motor, turn on the wipers (on low speed) and watch the linkage.
If the linkage is tight, the motor MAY need replacing.
