this vehicle has a noise in rf that sounds like wheel bearing but is not any suggestions

How do you know for certain the noise does not come from a worn wheel bearing?
Noise at ALL speeds? Noise pitch increase with road speed?
i checked it out by jacking up vehicle on right front and puting ear to wheel while in drive and noise is there but not coming from wheel think might be inner cv joint not sure
