Well at some point it doesn’t matter who is right or wrong, if you want it fixed you’ll have to pay for it. I think they were trying to blame it on BASF for bad paint. I’m not surprised at a year on the paint but it should last 5-10 years. I guess I would just get it done at another non-Ford dealership paint shop. Someone that uses Dupont or PPG products though in my opinion would be better.
Ok, the ford place did the work, no thanks to the State Farm. Had to talk with the person in charge of operations. Work was done in a day/overnight and the manger of the body shop was totally a different person after talking with head of operations.
The car was spotless when I went to pick it up.
They had cleaned everything inside and out. I think the body shop manager may have got in trouble.
My only question now is that, if I have more work to do on the car in the future, do I go to this place or to somewhere else?
